【Forest Story】
 Lavender Cottage was founded by two women—Hui-Chun Chan, who worked at an international bank for six years, and piano teacher Ting-Fei Lin. Despite being strangers at first, they shared a common dream and courage, which led them to build Lavender Cottage in the mountains of Xinshe. Through products, space, service, events, and experiential design, they captured the hearts of visitors and conveyed the philosophy: “We are happy, and we want you to be happy too.”

Since its establishment in 2001, Lavender Cottage has continued to innovate, attracting over a million domestic and international visitors every year. The company now owns 9 brands, operates over 20 locations, and has more than 500 partners. Its brands cover dining, hospitality, weddings, recreation, fragrances, retail, and curation. “Slow Living Hokkaido” is also the first Taiwanese corporate-founded guesthouse established in Japan.
